Pickup/ Deliveries/ Damage

We all love to enjoy the sweet delicacy of cake when it comes about celebrating special occasions.  Once your cake leaves our care, we are no longer responsible for any damages that occur, in transport or in your cake destination.

If you're picking up please understand that you're fully responsible for the transportation of the cake and any other desserts; this includes any damages that occur during the transportation time and after.

When carrying your cake, please place both hands under the cake, being careful to keep hands under the cake center. Keep the cake level at all times.

  • DO NOT PICK UP THE CAKE BY THE SIDES. THE BOARD WILL BEND AND THE FROSTING MIGHT CRACK OR GET STUCK ON THE EDGE OF THE BOX

Temperature can and will affect cakes and desserts.

Pick up or delivery are best done in the early morning and/or in a very cool, air conditioned car.

Keep car cooler than usual. Never leave cake in a hot car or in the trunk!

Cake & frosting get very soft in warm environments.

The driver must ensure the cakes and desserts are properly placed on a flat surface that's secure, tidy, and not slippery. If there are any items in your vehicle that may impact your edible goods, you're responsible for the damages as well.

Please make sure you have a flat surface in your car to transport your cake.

  • Please avoid putting it on a slanted car seat or any area with a slant

  • We DO NOT recommend someone holding the cake

  • Placing it on the floor board is the best option.

The minute the cake or desserts are picked up or delivered from us, we are no longer responsible for any damages that may occur.

Whenever we deliver/deliver we ensure to have the designated receiver sign off on a document to confirm it was received as expected without any damages.

If for whatever reason, unforeseen circumstances such as car accidents or hilly/ poor condition roads we won't be held liable for more than what the cake actually cost.

In the event, you receive a damaged cake or desserts you're responsible to notify us via email or in writing within 72 hours. You will be asked to send us any pictures of the incidents, and these must be sent within 5 business days to process a refund or replacement for your cakes and/or desserts.

If a cake and desserts are being delivered to a venue, we are not responsible for any damages that may occur after we have delivered or delivered and setup.

We will not offer or be asked for a partial/full refund if the cake and desserts are delayed for delivery. With that being said, to ensure this doesn't happen ever, we will deliver the cake or desserts earlier

Traveling

  • If you will be traveling with your cake after you take it home, we recommend keeping it refrigerated so the cake will be nice and firm for travel and of course, drive carefully and avoid slamming your brakes or turning sharply

  • Go DIRECTLY to your cake's final destination. Every little bump, curve, stop and go affects the solidity of your cake.  Reduce the risk by going straight home (or to cake destination) with your cake.

  • If traveling long distances with your cake, let us know so we can chill it before you pick it up.

    • Pop the cake into the refrigerator for an hour or so on arrival to firm everything back up again.

    • Allow extra time for transporting your cake to the event site. Drive slow. Try to avoid sudden stops.
